Senior Loan Officer

The Senior Loan Officer leads MBAC’s lending activities, serving as the primary lending resource for borrowers, staff, financial institutions, funders, and community partners, and ensuring consistent, compliant lending practices.

Core responsibilities include loan origination, underwriting, and portfolio management, from borrower intake and credit analysis to loan structuring, approvals, closings, and ongoing servicing and delinquency management.

This role also oversees loan support staff and partners closely with leadership, borrowers, and community partners to ensure sound lending decisions and responsible portfolio management.

Loan Assistant / Junior Loan Specialist

The Loan Assistant / Junior Loan Specialist provides day-to-day lending, servicing, documentation, and portfolio support for MBAC’s lending programs, serving as a key operational resource for borrowers and the lending team.

Core responsibilities include loan processing and servicing, from borrower intake and documentation collection to loan file preparation, closing coordination, payment and servicing activities, portfolio tracking, and maintaining complete, audit-ready loan records.

Working under the Senior Loan Officer, this role also builds foundational lending and credit analysis skills by supporting borrower financial review, eligibility assessment, underwriting preparation, and funder compliance, while working closely with borrowers, financial institutions, and community partners.

Operations & Finance Manager

The Operations & Finance Manager provides day-to-day administrative, financial, facilities, customer service, and HR support for MBAC’s operations, serving as a central operational resource for the board, staff, leadership, vendors, and community partners.

Core responsibilities include daily financial administration, from accounts payable/receivable and banking activity to reconciliations, payroll coordination, loan-related transactions, and preparation of month-end and management reporting.

This role also supervises the accounting assistant and works closely with leadership, lending staff, financial institutions, and auditors to ensure organizational records are accurate, complete, and well maintained.
