The Economic Development Administration designated the Gateway District in October of 2006. The EDA Economic Development District is compromised of the Montana counties of Broadwater, Lewis & Clark and Meagher Counties. This designation is a part of ongoing efforts to stimulate growth and business expansion in collaboration with MBAC’s programs. This designation allows Gateway District to apply for and receive grants for capacity building and other efforts.
